Yalmeh Glory Eye Bright Gel Review + Giveaway (closed)

This is the second Yalmeh product that I have received.  The gel is clear, drys super fast and isn't heavy at all so I didn't even notice it on my face.  This product is called "Glory Eye Bright Gel" but it can be used on your cheeks,forehead and pretty much anywhere on your face as well.  This product can be used for dark circles, wrinkles, puffiness, sagging, loss of tone and resilience.  I've been using this on my forehead and notice where I am applying the gel, my skin feels a lot softer and smoother.  

This product is made with botanical hyaluronic acid, plant stem cells, matrixyl 3000, and vitamin E. These are used for anti aging which hydrate the flimsy eye area (including eye lids) to avoid premature aging.  This product also contains all natural ingredients, no toxic chemicals or cancer causing additives - no mineral oil, sulfates or alcohol ,propylene glycol or paraben. Old Factory Candles - Review + Giveaway(closed)

This is the first non beauty related item that I chose to do a review on.  I was so excited to be chosen to receive these products!  Especially since all I had to do in return was give an honest review.  I absolutely love these candles!  They smell so amazing, not only that but I find their packaging super adorable.  So, I had a really hard time trying to choose which set of candles I wanted, and ended up choosing the "Winter Wonderland" set.  I am very happy with my choice and would love to have several of their other sets as well.  Such as "Coffee Shop", "Fall Harvest", "Happy Holidays", and others.  The ones I received in my set are hot cocoa, roasted chestnut and first snow.  The hot cocoa one is by far my absolute favorite.  

 

To talk a little more about the candles each one is hand poured in the USA with natural soy wax, the wicks are made of cotton and self-trim, and they are made of premium fragrance oils.  They also burn clean and can last up to 20 hours!  I have lit mine downstairs and could smell the fragrance all the way upstairs, which is pretty amazing.

This product is very creamy and makes my skin feel soft where I apply it to my face.  This product will last forever!  You only need to use a tiny amount as it will go a long way. October 2014 Birchbox - Review

This month Birchbox did the PICK YOUR SAMPLE again. I'm thinking they're going to keep doing this each month, which I personally think is great.  It's always fun being surprised, but sometimes it's nice to be able to pick one of your samples too. So while that part may not be a surprise the rest of the box will be.  Also, Birchbox is a subscription services and for 10 dollars a month you receive 4-5 beauty/lifestyle deluxe size samples.  Reviewing those samples each month will also give to 10 points per product reviewed, and 100 points is 10 dollars you can spend in the Birchbox shop.

 

Each month your box comes with a card telling you everything that you have received in your box.  They tell you what the full size for each item is worth, what the product is, and how to use each one.

ModelCo - Party Proof Lipstick - Kitty

This was the first product I received and also the product I chose.  I'm so happy with this lipstick. The lipstick goes on super smooth so it's not drying on the lips and it's not sticky.  A super plus for me is this product smells so good, fruity I think.  Also I love the packaging, it's super cute and when you look through the top you can actually see the lipstick through the clear circle in the top.  My picture doesn't even do the shade of the lipstick justice, the shade is closer to the color of the name on the packaging.

beautyblender + deluxe solid cleanser

This was the next item I received in my box, and I was super excited when I saw this.  I have been wanting to try out the beauty blender for so long now, but never bought it because I just couldn't see myself spending the money when I already had a foundation brush that worked fine.  I LOVE this product! So easy to use and easy to clean as well.  It even came with blender cleanser solid. To use all you do is soak the sponge in water and squeeze out the water then you use the beauty blender to stipple on your foundation. I like how a little bit of foundation goes a long ways.  I don't even feel the makeup on my face after application, yet my skin looks great!  I definitely recommend this product!

SAGE + fasten - Onward

This is the next item I received and when I first saw it in my box I was a little underwhelmed.  Out of the 6 boxes so far that I have received I've gotten a perfume in 4 of them.  I was pleasantly surprised with this one!  First off it smells different than the other perfumes I've gotten from Birchbox and I've worn it several times since getting this product. This is a really good perfume if you love citrus things.  Another thing I love about this is that it is not a spray perfume but a rollerball which I love since that makes it not so overpowering when you first put it on.  Also, the color of the packaging is pretty cute as well, although most of the writing rubbed off before I even received it making it look worn out.

dr. brandt - Pores no more - vacuum cleaner

This was another product I received that I was interested in trying out.  I've tried a few things from dr. brandt that I've really enjoyed and this was no exception.  Now, I've only tried this a couple of times so I don't know how effective it truly is with the whole "degunks pores for fewer blackheads" thing, but my skin did feel softer after using this. Using this product your supposed to apply it thinly to problem areas, let it dry and then rinse it off after 5-10 minutes.  The directions also say it is supposed to change blue in color, maybe I'm too pale because I only saw it change to white, but regardless what color it changes to I really enjoy this product so far.

 

Camille Beckman - Tuscan Honey - Glycerine Hand Therapy

This is the last product I received this month and another that I was unexcited to receive since, like perfume, I've also received lotions in 4 out of 6 boxes.  Unlike with the perfume I was not surprised with this product, at all.  This is not a lotion I can see myself wearing, I'm not really sure what it smells like to me, I'm just not too fond of this lotion. Although I don't like the fragrance to it, it is a moisturizing lotion and doesn't feel greasy.

Overall I really loved my box this month! I'm pretty sure this is the best one I have received so far.  Out of the five products there will only be one item I will not be using.
